Re: ISIS Treatment of Prisoners
I say it again, nuke that shithole. 1. To give prisoners like this freedom in death, and 2. to eliminate the scum that would do this to you, or me, or our families, or children - its out of fucking control - in war there is sacrifice and there's no such thing as a fair fight, use our arsenal and show the fucking world that this cannot and will not be tolerated. Fuck.

Re: ISIS Treatment of Prisoners
It's easy to sit in front of your computer and imagine what you would do in that situation. I know what you're saying and I understand. They are going to die anyway so why not at least attempt to escape, or at least try to take at least one of those fuckers out with them. The problem is, that under these circumstances, you have next to no control over what you will or wont do. It's all down to your fight or flight mechanism, and in a no win situation, like this one, your brain will almost always choose flight. But it won't kickstart you into action unless it see's an opening, your brain will only make you run if it believes you have a chance of survival. This may all sound like gobbledygook but I can assure you it isn't. The brain can make you run on auto-pilot sometimes. I'm sure you have watched videos on this site where people will miraculously jump out of the way of danger when they had absolutely no time to think about it. The brain stem, cerebellum and basal ganglia are casually referred to as the lizard brain and control basic bodily functions such as breathing, balance and coordination, and simple survival urges like feeding, mating and defense. So if you find yourself in a situation like the guys in this video, at least you'll know that your lizard brain is constantly looking for a way out, without you even being aware of it.

Re: ISIS Treatment of Prisoners
lol your last breath wouldn't take long. They would probably throw you around as meat for a while and then treat you to a death of being burned alive or skinned or drowned in a cage for being an annoying little irritation. It is easy being a hero on the internet but honestly I doubt you could fight sleep.
