Second point, context. Leviticus 20:13 is part of the Levitical law which was given specifically to the Israelites and is no longer applicable anyway.

No it doesn't.
The god of the old testament (if it was true) is the same god as the new testament. According to Christians, there is only one god. So it's the same god that wrote those horrific rules in Leviticus and was ok with slavery. It was just as immoral back then as it is today, people just didn't know any better back then. The fact that Leviticus is no longer 'applied' because someone wrote a new book and said that it trumps the old book doesn't mean shit. If all the Christian scripture is true, then Leviticus demonstrates just how evil your god was and still is. Religion of peace? Right. Why don't all you religious fucks just realize that if you all follow disgusting books with a LOT of bad shit in them and a little bit of good shit in them. You should just merge your books in to one.
Just remember, the bible is ATLEAST as evil as the QUr'an. The difference is that one of them is your beloved religion, and one of them is NOT. There is NO context under which owning human beings as PROPERTY (slaves) is going to be justifiable. You can't justify it. Kinda like pedophilia.

The reason the old Levitical law no longer applies is because all of those ordinances, which were contrary to them were nailed to the cross at Jesus death (Colossians 2:14). It makes a difference because it was a completely different place in a completely different time.
