I find these highly edited stylized videos actually diminishes the effect that's intended of "shock and horror" in that it looks too polished and something you'd see in a military movie or something, as opposed to the ones that aren't edited and shot guerilla style in real time, where it's like you're actually there at the moment and you KNOW it's real. These newer, slicker, videos just give a weird sense of disconnect .

I dunno, maybe it's just me. Also, there's sorta a bit of a "cringe" element to these super slick new videos...it's like they're trying too hard and staging too much like some amateur film student, and it just doesn't have the same effect.

Compare this to something like the Dagestan 6 or the cartel videos and tell me which one has the larger prominent effect (for me, it'd be the D6/cartel vids by a country mile).

Its not hard to stomach when you REALLY FEEL & accept the people throats you are slicing are killing your families(not saying thats the case) .. I to get semi sick watching this video, but if i knew the guys cutting the throats of those men would even have a chance at doing it to some one i love i could easily welcome the chance to do it while i eat a meatball sub

This video has haunted me since the first time I saw it years ago. It's pretty much the most awful thing I've ever seen, because not only is it incredibly barbaric and gory, but it's also real and done with high level production quality. I feel so sorry for those young men who were slaughtered, you can see how terrified they were and that they knew what was happening to them.
