Re: ISIS Fighter Films His Own Death on GoPro

You wouldn't be stoked about it; you'd be dead. Even for the fictional jesus, his birthday is when? If he were real wouldn't know his date of birth.

This fiction impacted millions! So did Hitler. Both for the negative.
Hitler didn't hardly scratch the surface of thousands of years in history of influence, in fact, he's universally rejected by Western Civilization. Wish we could say the same about your beloved Karl Marx, whom is still a destructive influence that is responsible for 100s of millions more deaths than Hitler, and Jesus, combined.

The concept of Jesus, even as a fictional representative of an imaginary being, did secure a culture that embodied all the great things that were developed and evolved into modern history in terms of innovation, engineering, science, tech. Something that did not come from anywhere else, in the world.

Had that little event in history not taken place, Europe would still be savages, the middle east would have regressed back to barbaric spiritualist, throwng babies into pits of fire, and what remaining Civilizations would have crumbled from degeneracy.

But that's utopian, to you, isn't it?

Can you expand on this a little please? I'm interested in reading about how religion helped science and engineering, and somewhat skeptical but open to being convinced otherwise.

A very in depth conversation here somewhat on that question.

https://www.documentingreality.com/f...ociety-191125/

In summary, religion itself didn't contribute anything to science, engineering, innovation. The culture that predates even Christianity, however, did.

That culture has been under constant subjugation since the first dynasties of Egypt, followed by the Greek, Romans, now western Civilization.

The whole "Christ" thing was more of a political movement to rid society of an subversive culture that the pharasees, of Persian influences, were spreading.

Essentially, Christ was never against the Romans. His claims of being the "true judahite" was basically asserting that his way of thinking was the true way, and he was an example of that culture.

Check out the YouTube videos of what a BMF Activator can do for an AR15! I bought several, best $20 upgrade I’ve done. Completely legal, even comes with certification from ATF.
Why go with a contraption when you can simply buy a binary trigger system that won’t leave you hanging

A complex subject, but at the very least, one of the dirty little secrets of human history is that most so-called golden ages of science/engineering/culture/art/intellectualism/all the stuff self-proclaimed rationalists like to jerk off about have been predicated on post-imperialistic states.

It's not until humans have enough resources (usually being gathered or pillaged or otherwise strongarmed from vassal states/conquered territories) that people back home have enough time to sit around and name stars.

It's not a coincidence, for example, that Damascus and Baghdad were the intellectual forefront of the world a short time after the Muslim conquests of Africa/the Middle East, Most of central asia and parts of Europe.

It's not a coincidence that the seedings of the Age of Imperialism started from the end of the Thirty Years War and some level of Catholic cohesion within Europe, and the so-called "Enlightenment" quickly followed.

At the very least, when Religion has been a guiding or supportive force for imperialism, it's had a HUGE influence in the development of all things intellectual.

Of those this flies right in the face of the "zomg religion is like so lol dumb and just causes wars and problems and stuff lololol we should just like be rational and everything will solve itself" pseudo-intellectualism that's so common, but there you go.
