The victim was too close to the ground and the executioner knew the sword could smash into the dirt and rocks and he would look like an imbecile on camera. (Not to mention ruining a perfectly good ISIS issued Neck Cutter.) He was also afraid that all his ISIS pals would mock him and scorn him. Or worse yet...accuse him of being an unbeliever and cursed by the Snackbar. You can't mess up there. You can very easily end up...'next' your own self.   · |
