So your argument is that the U. S. needs time to out grow its addiction to war. I hesitate to mention math to you since you feel you are quite bright, but you can use percentages to compare vastly diverse outcomes. 239 out of 239 is 100%. What is the
percentage for the middle east,as you call it? Has it always been the same people occupying it? If not then we need to count the 10,000 years that the Native Americans were here.
