Re: ISIS' Burning Jordanian Pilot Moaz Al-Kassasbeh
At least I knew I could find this video here at DR. On a serious note, that was fucking brutal, and as difficult as it would be to nuke them all and not kill innocent civilians, I really feel that we need to start using some of those hundreds of nukes we have stored.. I mean, they're only collecting dust at the moment, while waiting for the right global enemy I guess, so why not now! |

Re: ISIS' Burning Jordanian Pilot Moaz Al-Kassasbeh
islam, what can be said about it? there really is no other religion like it. it has been acknowledged as the sole influence in tragedies all over the world by the very terrorists who do them. yet, it seems to remain immune from any criticism, or any analysis that pokes its nose into the "wrong" territory; islamophobe, they say, crying foul, yet refusing to even acknowledge the horrors it has seemingly spawned and condones. we are told that islam is the religion of peace, but, through the concept of "taqiyya", the last bit of that sentence is missing. taqiyya, in a nutshell, instructs muslims to lie to non believers in order to protect / further islam and its agenda (world wide shari'a). if they were being honest with you, top level muslim spokespeople would finish that sentence; "islam is the religion of peace, if the world is under shari'a law". islamophobe? hey, maybe that is accurate and not just used to silence criticism.. hell yeah i'm scared of shari'a, what outsider to islam wouldn't be? a lot of muslims sure do whine for respect, yet do NOTHING to earn it; advocating for shari'a, which is inherently oppressive and inherently savage, and then have the audacity to silence those of us who want nothing to do with it. everyone i care about would be mutilated or murdered under shari'a law, what is to be feared about that? i had a long think about what islam is contributing to the world. take catholicism, for example. its ripe for criticism, and rightfully so. however, there are people involved with it that feed hungry people, run orphanages, etc, and have been for quite a long time. what is islam really contributing? well papa 'bama made sure to remind me that "people did terrible things in the name of christ". sure, absolutely, and guess what? muslims were right there beside them doing terrible things in the name of allah/mohammad, the difference being the christians stopped, the muslims didn't. in this day and age, someone killing in the name of christ is fringe, someone killing in the name of allah is business as usual. obviously, most muslims aren't terrorists, but, to be fair, there's a disturbingly large amount of them that believe that the punishment for apostasy should be death. my opinion? the only thing islam is contributing right now is large holes in the ground, and smaller holes in the walls. oh, and apparently fires now. |

Re: ISIS' Burning Jordanian Pilot Moaz Al-Kassasbeh
What IS cares about is not human life but dominance. If we allow these human animals to continue with their rampage against anyone who does not believe in what they do or contests their perceived purpose we are all doomed. Every country on the planet is in danger. We, and I say this with all sincerity to include every country that does not follow their extremist beliefs, need to form together as one and remove IS from the planet Earth as quickly as possible. If we don't, we are doomed.

Re: ISIS' Burning Jordanian Pilot Moaz Al-Kassasbeh
There is no winning the war on Islamic terrorism, driving it underground is about as good as it gets. We're still dealing with Nazism 70 years after the defeat of the Third Reich. I am going to be controversial but ISIS must be allowed to survive because, how else is 8 million clueless assholes who spent their whole lives devoted to a Bronze Age mythology gonna survive? For now ISIS provides security, waste management, infrastructure, water supply, etc who is going to fill this vacuum when they are gone? 8 million refugees potentially. The world can barely deal with 1 million Rwandan refugees back during the Rwandan massacre. It will be the worse humanitarian crisis ever |

Don't get me wrong I don't agree with this particular situation whatsoever but at the end of the day its war and people get killed in horrible gruesome ways and one side tries to seem righteous and make it ok that they kill and murder people too
