Saying ISIS is doomed is like saying the Taliban/Al Queda/Viet Cong are doomed. We can push them underground but that's it. Which is itself a good position, don't get me wrong.
Are you sure it's not like saying <insert dozens upon dozens of guerilla movements who have come and gone that you don't remember because everyone forgot about them> are doomed?

Did this pilot eject? I guess it is hard to evade the enemy with no place to hide. Most pilots have a service pistol maybe he didn't want to use it. I would have, screw getting tortured.
