i used to wonder that too, but now i think that by releasing these videos and generating more hate for muslims worldwide they actually increase the likelihood of previously moderate muslims joining them out of response to the hate

This is EXACTLY right. Just look at Fox News and all of the dummies that follow it. There are Christian in 'Merica that won't allow law abiding citizens at their shooting ranges because they are muslim. This is a violation of their constitutional rights and it continues to create a larger divide between western culture and islam. If Americans want to increase the likelihood of moderate muslims joinging Isis and becoming a problem, then they should continue alienating them like they have since 9/11. If Americans want to increase the likelihood of moderate muslims condemning Isis, and supporting us Westerners, then they ABSOLTELY MUST embrace them. Invite a muslim to the cottage. Invite them to the UFC payperview you ordered, or whatever. If you label all the good muslims as 'bad' then they will feel alienated and be more sympathetic to Isis. That's just common sense. America and Canada are supposedly about accepting all cultures and letting them mix and diversify like the founding fathers intended. Yet the right wing Chrisitians and Republicans seem to have forgotten this and think that America is a 'christian' country. It aint. Never was. And NEVER will be. It's SECULAR. Say it with me. S-E-C-U-L-A-R. Can you pronounce that word Mr Republican? |

I´m getting your point. The problem we see over here in europe is that most "peaceful, moderate" muslims never condemn the things that ISIS and other islamist terrorists are doing. They never go and protest on the streets after another terrorist attack. They never did in the past and they never will in the future. Instead there are muslim areas in europan cities were nobody else wants to set food anymore, including the police. Look at Birmingham UK and areas of London or areas of Berlin where the police is looking away and has no power anymore (thanks to leftwing laws). There are YT videos of "peaceful" muslims in german cites who are showing their true face and shouting out their beliefs on how islam will conquer the world when they feel cornered by people asking them the right questions. How are we supposed to feel about them? Why don´t we have trouble with citizens of beliefs other than Islam in our countries?
