I will step in with my explanation. This is much more than believing in different Gods. In religious societies, the religious philosophy is the basis for all human interactions and regulations - cemented through child rearing, schooling, laws, etc.

Islam and Hinduism have no compatibility whatsoever.

Islam was created by and for Arabs because Muhammad could not convince Jewish leaders to bring him into their Circle of Power. Muhammad created an Islam oral history from scratch that plagiarized the Torah, rewriting stories to substitute Arab Saints and Prophets. His Koran also established Muslim holy rules that promote and reward discrimination, lying, deception and murder; as long is it is directed toward non-Muslims and provides for the betterment of Muslims. A well known example of Islam discrimination is the Koran stipulates higher tax rates for non-Muslims, a tax code that was historically applied when Muzzies were in power.

In contrast, Hinduism is 4000 years old with no known "founder." The key Hindu tenants are belief that all living creatures have souls, reincarnation (all souls are in a continuous journey), and karma (all actions influence the journey of the soul). Accordingly, Hindus strive to achieve dharma, which is a code of living that emphasizes good conduct and morality.
