Re: Drug Boat Strike Videos - Every US Military Strike on Cartel Boats
What amazes me is that these boats remain largely intact and turn into floating funeral pyres. Do they eventually sink from holes in the boat I wonder or just float around with burnt bodies and melted drug bundles!?! What type of armament are being used for these operations!?! |

Re: Drug Boat Strike Videos - Every US Military Strike on Cartel Boats
I don't know from the military perspective, but I can explain from the boating perspective. A lot of civilian boats made in the last ~25 years really won't sink. They porpoise. Which means if it does go down, usually the bow, or even the front 1/3 of the boat will remain up in the air. They are acually designed NOT to sink. Yet of course they are also not designed to be hit by a tomahawk missile. So who really knows.

Re: Drug Boat Strike Videos - Every US Military Strike on Cartel Boats
$1.5 million to $2 million tomahawks are fired by ships and subs to destroy way bigger targets p. the narco vessels are often built with a double-walled fiberglass hull packed tightly with high-density polyurethane buoyancy foam so when those reaper drones fire their Hellfires or griffins, with around 16 pounds warhead, or drop a gbu-39 small diameter bomb which are sufficient enough for these smaller targets to get destroyed although they sometimes do a double tap to be extra sure. these hellfires are the most expensive, esp. when you do a double tap. Rather use those way cheaper gbu-39 bombs or griffin missiles. |
