Couldn’t imagine a life like that. It’s no wonder these folks commit suicide living like they do. There are also three reasons why such beatings occur in the military.

First, the attackers were beaten in the same way when they were new recruits, and the new recruits in the video will probably beat their own new recruits as time goes by.

Second, the fear caused by beatings makes it much easier to control the junior soldiers. If the senior soldiers beat the junior soldiers for even a small mistake, the junior soldiers will develop an obsession not to make even a small mistake.

Third, as the rank goes up, the senior soldiers do not do things like cleaning, so the junior soldiers take care of all the work in the unit.
