Lot of infantry anti-tank weapons (like RPG-7) are also useful in clearing out small entrenchments and bunkers. Hence why its paramount that your trenches are well camouflaged from both front and top. The kind of sandbag- and dirt piles with a hole coming out of middle where MG goes in movies is actually very non-ideal way of building defensive positions, too easy to spot. Why some middle-eastern armies still do this in the wilderness and don't camouflage it properly can happen for many reasons, including incompetence, hurry, or simply the landscape itself being very difficult to hide in. |
