Woman and Dogs Rescued from Bay Point Island
Coast Guard and partner agency crews rescued a woman and dogs stranded on Bay Point Island, South Carolina, on Sept. 15, 2024. During the search and rescue case, a Coast Guard Air Station Savannah helicopter crew searched for an adrift vessel. After a good Samaritan rescued the vessel's operator, a Coast Guard Station Tybee boat crew, assisted by the helicopter crew, found the vessel and towed it to a local boat ramp.  ·  ·  ·
