Winslow Griesser Tows Disabled Catamaran to Mayaguez
The Coast Guard Cutter Winslow Griesser crew assisted two Florida boaters early Feb. 10, 2022, by taking the disabled catamaran Sassi Kat in tow about 50 nautical miles northwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The cutter towed Sassi Kat for about 14 hours, completing a 70 nautical mile transit to safe harbor in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  ·  ·
