The crew of USCGC Oliver Henry (WPC 1140) rescued three mariners stranded on Pikelot Atoll, Yap State, Federated States of Micronesia, on April 9, 2024.

Watchstanders at Joint Rescue Sub-Center Guam received a distress call from a relative on April 6. The caller reported the three men had departed Polowat Atoll, Chuuk State, on Easter Sunday for Pikelot Atoll, about 100 nautical miles northwest, and had not returned.

The cutter crew made contact with the mariners, helped transfer their belongings, and recovered them by cutter boat for transport to Polowat Atoll.
