Two Rescued from Downed Helicopter Off Morgan City
A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew responded Oct. 26, 2022, to a report of a downed helicopter 46 miles offshore Morgan City, Louisiana. The helicopter was upside down with flotation devices and a life raft deployed. Two of the three crewmembers were hoisted and transferred to University Medical Center New Orleans in critical condition.
