Tug Dominion Sinks and Leaks Fuel in Bremerton Marina
A unified command with the U.S. Coast Guard and the Washington Department of Ecology was established Sept. 19, 2025, after the 130-foot tugboat Dominion sank and caused pollution in Bremerton Marina, near Bremerton, Washington. Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound received the initial pollution report from the National Response Center. The report said the Dominion was sinking and leaking fuel and oil within the marina. Pollution was seen in the water after the tug sank Sept. 17, 2025.  ·  ·  ·  ·
