Three People, Two Dogs Medevaced After Grounding in Willapa Bay
A Coast Guard Air Station Astoria MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew medevaced three survivors and two dogs in Willapa Bay, Washington, after their vessel ran aground and began taking on water on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024. The survivors were taken to Willapa Harbor Airport and transferred to Emergency Medical Services. No injuries were reported.
