Six Rescued from Sailing Vessel Near Mona Island
Coast Guard air and surface crews rescued six men on the night of Jan. 20, 2022, from the distressed 35-foot sailing vessel Sojourner near Puerto Rico. The group, one Russian, one Kazakh and four Uzbeks, was in international waters of the Mona Passage near Mona Island when the Sojourner started taking on water, lost steering and lost its sail.  ·
