Sandy Ground Moors After Reported Engine Fire in NY Harbor
New York City Fire Department and New York City Police Department stood by as the Staten Island Ferry Sandy Ground moored after a reported engine fire on Dec. 22, 2022, in New York Harbor. Three ferries disembarked personnel from the Sandy Ground, and all 866 people aboard were accounted for at the St. George Ferry Terminal.  ·
