Navy Helicopter Hoists Mariner from Vessel Adrift West of Guam
A U.S. Navy MH-60 Knighthawk helicopter crew from Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 made contact with mariners aboard the 47-foot motor vessel Lucky Harvest around 9:30 a.m. on May 16, 2025, about 125 nautical miles west of Guam. The Navy crew hoisted one mariner. A U.S. Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules crew from Air Station Barbers Point in Hawai'i stayed on scene until USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) arrived, rescued the second mariner, and took the vessel safely in tow toward Guam.  ·
