Myrtle Hazard Tows Lucky Harvest West of Guam

On May 16, 2025, the crew of USCGC Myrtle Hazard (WPC 1139) reached the 47-foot motor vessel Lucky Harvest, which was adrift about 125 nautical miles west of Guam.

A U.S. Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules airplane crew from Air Station Barbers Point in Hawaii stayed with the vessel until Myrtle Hazard arrived. The Myrtle Hazard crew rescued the mariner still aboard and took Lucky Harvest safely in tow toward Guam.

On May 17, USCGC Myrtle Hazard was towing Lucky Harvest to Guam.
