Man Medevaced 45 Miles West of Anna Maria Island
On Aug. 16, 2024, a Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew medevaced a 51-year-old man from the fishing boat Team Galati, 45 miles west of Anna Maria Island, Florida. The man was later transferred to an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew from Air Station Clearwater and taken to Tampa General Hospital for further care.  ·  ·
