Holy fuck on toast. Is this trip really necessary? Nothing like getting to contemplate one's mortality over and over and over in slo-mo, wondering "is THIS the wave where the keel snaps/the bow just doesn't come up and guides us gently right under?" Also, is it me or does the third from-ship view look like it might've been filmed from, say, inside a lifeboat? I KNOW nobody was dumb enough to go right out on the bow... But oh wait, there's tiktok...

The video format is compressed horizontally which is making everything look a little taller and steeper. For sure the waves are big and bad but that's being exacerbated by the compression of the frame
