Four Lancha Crews Interdicted, 1,250 Pounds of Fish Seized
Coast Guard and partner agencies interdicted four lancha crews off the Texas coast and seized 1,250 pounds of illegal fish. On March 7, 2024, a 33-foot Special Purpose Craft Law Enforcement boat crew from Coast Guard Station South Padre Island surveyed a Mexican lancha offshore the southern Texas coast. Station South Padre Island crews interdicted that lancha and seized 220 pounds of red snapper.  ·  ·  ·
