Five Aboard Helicopter Crash-landed Near Kalalau Beach
The Coast Guard received a report from Kauai Police Dispatch of a helicopter crash-landing near Kalalau Beach on Kauai on March 26, 2026. Five people were aboard. A Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew and a Kauai Ocean Safety Bureau boat crew responded along the shoreline near Kalalau Beach. Kauai Ocean Safety members and good Samaritans assisted those involved after the helicopter crash-landed on the sandbar near Kalalau Beach.  ·  ·
