Coast Guard, Tug Rescue 2 Boaters Off Dauphin Island
A Coast Guard Air Station MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew airlifted two overdue boaters 63 miles from Dauphin Island, Alabama, on Oct. 11, 2022, after their boat took on water. Good Samaritans were also involved in the rescue. The aircrew flew toward the commercial tug Linda Moran during the response. The two boaters were later photographed with the aircrew at the airport.  ·  ·  ·
