Coast Guard Transfers 217 Haitians to The Bahamas
Coast Guard cutter small boats evaluated the safety and wellbeing of people aboard an unsafe, overloaded Haitian sailing vessel near Dog Rocks, Bahamas, on Nov. 17, 2022. The small boats gave people lifejackets and ferried them from the sailing vessel to the cutter. The 217 people were transferred to Bahamian authorities on Nov. 19, 2022.  ·  ·  ·
