Coast Guard Rescues Woman from McKenzie River After Crash
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew from North Bend, Oregon, rescued a 71-year-old woman from the McKenzie River east of Springfield, Oregon, on March 5, 2025. The car she was traveling in had entered the river after a car accident. Local police and fire departments were unable to safely reach her because of swift water around the vehicle.
