Coast Guard Rescues Two from Vessel Taking on Water Near Pittsburgh
On May 6, 2023, a Coast Guard Station Pittsburgh 29-foot Response Boat-Small boatcrew assisted two boaters aboard a 50-foot vessel taking on water near Pittsburgh. The crew attempted to dewater the vessel with onboard pumps, but eventually deemed it unsalvageable. They took the boaters aboard and transferred them to Sharpsburg Islands Marina in Sharpsburg, Pennsylvania.  ·
