Coast Guard Rescues Two from Overturned Vessel Near Chinook
A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria, Oregon, rescued two boaters from an overturned vessel near Chinook, Washington, on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025. The two had been clinging to the top of the vessel for two hours. Air Station Astoria located them and transported them to Emergency Medical Services after a family member told the Coast Guard they had not returned home when expected.
