Coast Guard Rescues Father and Daughter After Capsize Near Marathon
Coast Guard Station Marathon personnel rescued a father and daughter after their vessel capsized about one mile offshore of Marathon, Florida, on Feb. 18, 2023. The two were taken aboard a Station Marathon 33-foot high-speed law enforcement boat and safely transported to land with no reported injuries. SeaTow personnel uprighted the capsized vessel. Station Marathon crewmembers also gathered gear adrift from the vessel and notified Coast Guard Sector Key West watchstanders.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·
