Coast Guard Rescues 5 from Disabled Vessel Near Yakutat
A Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Super Hercules crew conducted an overflight of the fishing vessel Great Pacific in the Hinchinbrook shipping channel on Nov. 1, 2025. The USCGC John Witherspoon (WPC 1158) rescued the vessel's five-person crew after Great Pacific reported being disabled southwest of Yakutat.  ·  ·
