Coast Guard Rescues 5 After F/V Desire Sinks Off Umpqua River
A Coast Guard Air Station North Bend MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew rescued five people from a life raft after the 67-foot fishing vessel Desire sank about 20 miles offshore from the mouth of the Umpqua River, Oregon, on Nov. 15, 2021. The five people aboard had abandoned ship.
