Coast Guard Rescues 4 from Tug South of Cordova
A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Kodiak rescued four people from the tug Sea Ranger on Aug. 1, 2025. The vessel was taking on water about 130 miles south of Cordova, Alaska. All four crew members were hoisted off and taken to awaiting emergency medical services in Cordova. No injuries were reported.
