Coast Guard Rescues 4 Near Mackinac Bridge
A 50-foot sailing vessel went hard aground on rocks east of the Mackinac Bridge on Lake Huron in Michigan on July 21, 2025. Coast Guard Station St. Ignace responded, removed four people from aboard, and stayed on scene to make sure the vessel was safely refloated. All four people were returned to Mackinac Island, Michigan.  ·  ·
