Coast Guard Rescues 3 from Sailboat Near Plana Cays
A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater aircrew rescued an 8-year-old child and two adults on June 30, 2025, after their sailing vessel became partially submerged near Plana Cays, Bahamas. A good Samaritan called Coast Guard Seventh District watchstanders to report the family in distress.
