Coast Guard Rescues 3 Near Winyah Bay
A U.S. Coast Guard Station Georgetown search and rescue crew responded to a capsized boat near the entrance of Winyah Bay, South Carolina, on Nov. 27, 2022. The crew found the three men sitting on top of the capsized boat, recovered them, and transferred them back to Station Georgetown. All three had been properly wearing life jackets and used flares to help the boat crew locate them. There were no medical concerns.  ·  ·
