Coast Guard Rescues 3 Boaters Near Freeport
A 15-foot jon boat became disabled and ran aground on a barrier island near Freeport, Texas, on Sept. 18, 2023, with three men aboard. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Houston hoisted the stranded boaters and brought them to Texas Gulf Coast Regional Airport in Angleton, Texas.  ·  ·
