Coast Guard Rescues 3 After Boat Takes on Water Off Pascagoula
Coast Guard Station Pascagoula rescued three boaters on Jan. 30, 2023, near Pascagoula, Mississippi, after their vessel began taking on water. The vessel was sinking about 11 miles southeast of Pascagoula. The boaters used an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon to send a distress signal. At least one boater was in a life raft near the sinking vessel. Coast Guard Station Pascagoula arrived on scene and transported the three boaters to shore.  ·  ·  ·
