Coast Guard Rescues 2 Kayakers Near Tawas
A Coast Guard Air Station Detroit crew rescued two kayakers after they were reported overdue near Charity Island, Michigan, near Tawas, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The helicopter crew hoisted the two to safety and transported them to Wurtsmith Air Base, where they were transferred to medical personnel.
