Coast Guard Rescues 15 from Disabled Vessel Off San Diego
A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew rescued 15 aliens from a disabled vessel 60 miles southwest of San Diego on March 11, 2025. Rescue swimmers assisted those aboard, and all 15 were safely hoisted onto the helicopter. They were brought to Coast Guard Sector San Diego and transferred to U.S. Customs and Border Protection custody.
