Coast Guard Recovers Oil from Bill Ketner in San Pedro
The Coast Guard conducted oil recovery from the sunken fishing vessel Bill Ketner in San Pedro, California, after its Incident Management Division determined diesel fuel aboard posed a serious risk to the environment. Oil absorbent mat pads were placed around the vessel on October 25, 2022. Booms deployed at Coast Guard direction encompassed the vessel on October 27, 2022.  ·  ·
