Coast Guard, Navy Medevac Mariner Off Hawaii
On Oct. 2, 2021, crews from U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Joseph Gerczak (WPC 1126) and a U.S. Navy Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 37 MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter medevaced a distressed mariner. The medevac took place 115 nautical miles from the Hawaii coastline.
