Coast Guard Medevacs Woman from Cruise Off Galveston
A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew medevaced a 93-year-old woman from the cruise ship Carnival Vista on April 9, 2023, about 90 miles offshore Galveston, Texas. The woman was experiencing symptoms of type 2 respiratory failure. The helicopter crew hoisted the woman and a nurse, then transported them to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
