Coast Guard Medevacs Man Off Coronado Islands
The Coast Guard medevaced a 60-year-old man from a fishing vessel 35 miles off the Coronado Islands coast in San Diego on Oct. 3, 2023. The fishing vessel contacted Coast Guard Sector San Diego Joint Harbor Operations Center watchstanders to request a medevac for the man, who had seizure-like symptoms and needed a higher level of medical care.
