Coast Guard Medevacs Man from Crown Princess Off San Diego
Coast Guard members medevaced a 72-year-old man, his spouse, and the cruise ship's nurse from the Crown Princess on Dec. 6, 2022, about 90 miles south off the San Diego coast. The Crown Princess had contacted Coast Guard Sector San Diego Joint Harbor Operations Center watchstanders to request a medevac for the man, who was experiencing stroke-like symptoms.
