Coast Guard Medevacs Injured Crewman Off Charleston
A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah helicopter crew medevaced a 43-year-old crew member from the Thomas Jefferson, a 208-foot hydrographic survey vessel, 51 miles offshore Charleston, South Carolina, on Oct. 8, 2023. The crew member had a severe laceration to his arm. The helicopter crew hoisted him and transported him to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.  ·  ·
