Coast Guard Medevacs Fisherman Off Freeport, Texas
A Coast Guard Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew hoisted and medevaced an injured fisherman about 10 miles south of Freeport, Texas, on Sept. 3, 2023. The man was taken to St. Luke's Health - Brazosport Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas, where he was last reported in stable condition.
